Fallon NAS Hosts SARCON 2008

Naval Air Station Base Hosts Search and Rescue Training.
Hundreds of Police Officers, Emergency Services Experts to Hone Their Skills

Fallon Naval Air Station is co-sponsoring a major three-day training conference in search and rescue techniques in Mid May.

Approximately 600 professionals from throughout the western United States will pick up the latest tips from the experts in dozens of specific areas of the search and rescue field.

Course selections include Crime Scene Preservation, Mine Safety,  ATV Safety Course,  Wildlife Attacks, Patient Packaging, Working With Search Dogs, Bone Identification, Back Country Survival, and  more.

Registrations are still being accepted.  The cost of the conference is $60 and includes SARCON attendance, Friday night reception, Saturday brunch and dinner and Sunday brunch. 

The fee is is required for attendance.
